The Ramdevra Fair is held in village of Ramdevra which is named after Baba Ramdev. He was a Tanwar Rajput and a famous saint who took Samadhi (self departure of soul from body) in 1458 A. D. The reason behind his immense fame was the supernatural powers he possessed. The fair is organized at big scale in Bhadon Sudi 2 to Bhadon Sudi 11 (August - September) where millions of pilgrims roll up every year.

The legend associated with the fair of Ramdevra is that once five saints from Mecca decided to test his powers and after watching the magic of real supremacy, he became a respected identity (Ram Shah Pir) for Muslim community. Hindu venerates him as an incarnation of Lord Krishna. Baba Ramdev helped poor and deprived people. He opposed discrimination and treated every caste, creed and sex equally.

The place where tank Ramsar is constructed is highly popular among villagers as it is believed to be built by Baba Ramdev himself. In Ramdevra Fair, Temple constructed by Maharaja Ganga Singh of Bikaner around the Samadhi in 1931 A.D receives rice, coconuts, bangles, fruit and wooden horses by the disciples. The devotees form various groups and after then every group sings psalm and hymns in the remembrance of Baba.
